One of most impactful monuments in Washington DC is “THE WALL.” There may be only a few people or several hundred of people gathered around you, but when you start walking past those names, the silence is deafening. Some people carry flowers, letters, photos, and keepsakes to leave below the names of their loved ones. Pictures are being taken. Family & friends touch a name or make a pencil rubbings. All around you…people whisper, they pray, they cry. THE VIETNAM WALL is something that every American needs to experience something truly special.
